So everyone, the stage is set for a strong last 4 weeks and end of the season tournament!
The rosters are now final, that means no new additions through the tournament.
If you waited too long do not worry, day-payers can still join for games to fill in where needed but for the tournament they will be put on one of the 2 additional teams we will be adding.
1 team from Al Ain(belongs to the AD group) and 1 team in Dubai. (Signup info will come out next week for the additional tournament teams)
The plan for the tournament is as follows:
Day 1: May 11th- Group round, 4:30pm-8:30pm
-2 groups of 4 teams.
Group A: AD 1 and 3, Dubai 2
Group B: Dubai 1 and 3, AD 2
Since 6 teams isn’t enough for a bye round, the top team from each division (AD and Dubai), based off season record, will get 1 extra point going into the tournament.
Each team will play 2 games.
20 min halves, final 2 min stopping clock, 2 TOs – 5 min halftime
2 timeout per half.
A win is 3pts, tie is 1pt, loss is 0.
Day 2: May 12th- Bracket round, 4:30pm-9:00pm
-The top 2 teams from each group will move to the championship bracket to play 2 full length games for 1st-4th place.
(20min halves, last 2 min stopping clock, 2 TOs – 5 min halftime)
-The 2 last place teams from each bracket will join the Al Ain and additional Dubai team for another group round.
(Each team will plan 3 games, 10min halves, last 2 min stopping clock, 1 TOs per half – 2 min halftime)
